Di is a self-taught artist born and raised in British Columbia. Inspired by the natural beauty found on the West Coast she began to develop her unique and colorful painting style after moving to Bowen Island in 2012.

Using acrylic on canvas she puts a contemporary twist on local wildlife and nature scenes. Passionate about bridging the gap between art and science Di likes to use her paintings as a platform for education and conservation. When not in her home studio Di can be found swimming in the sea, vegetable gardening, and exploring beautiful Howe Sound with her family.
